I’d be interested to know how the Lentil curry went down with the kids Charlotte…I’ve been trying to sneak in the odd veggie meal with my family, but not getting it right yet 😄

Really enjoy your videos and appreciate the inspiration! As a suggestion for your cheddar I’ve been making the BBC Merry Berry Cheese, Leek and Potato pie but instead of topping with short crust pastry I’ve been topping with a sheet of puff pastry (baking separately to the pie to keep it crisp) as I think this makes the pie taste slightly more spring/ summery xx

I lost my grandad in 2021, it was my 1st expierence of grief (I'm 35) and I know I was so lucky to be able to have him for so many years of my life but wow grief is HARD - I think it's accepted that kids can act up when theyre grieving but being an adult and having to still show up for work etc it feels like its frowned upon I guess to have days where grief hits you like a brick and you just can't cope. (Don't know if that makes any sense, I am not good with words!)

Ahh Charlotte I really enjoyed that chatty vlog. Lovely to hear you talk about your gramps ❤ You are really lucky to be so intune with your kids and so are they 😍 You're doing a brilliant job. It does just fly even though, depending on what you're going through it can seem long. I cannot believe my "baby" is now 25 😮 I cannot believe it. We enjoyed every minute but it seems to have gone by too fast like fast forward. No need to tell you to enjoy every minute 😊 You really do a great job with your makeup, not that you need it 😊 Have a lovely rest of the week and enjoy celebrating Fathers' Day x

you're totally right about being in a sweet spot with the kids, when they are adults you miss this time more than you would ever believe , good thing though they bring their kids back for you to babysit 😅 ❤ I adore my baby grandson it's like looking after his mum all over again ( and I can give him back ) xx
